The foundation of modern Engineering education is based on the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (and Biology) supported by Languages and other complimentary Engineering subjects. The First year study of any Engineering Institution always comprises of a combination of the above subjects which assigns it the name of Foundation year. A strong high-rise building can not be built on a weak foundation which signifies the importance of the Department of Applied Sciences, Engineering and Humanities.
At Techno NJR, due attention has been given to this aspect thereby the Applied Sciences department constitutes of highly qualified and experienced faculty of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Applied Mechanics and English supported with well equipped laboratories and trained staff.
