It seems Techno NJR students work in industry rather than study in college . Techno NJR student team of Civil & Mechanical Engineering won 1st runner up Prize of Rs. 75,000/- at Smart India Hackathon 2018 Hardware Version held at NIT, Trichy on 18-22 June, 2018.

Their project of converting waste into strong reusable material including bricks and paver blocks for construction has won many accolades including Best paper at IIT, Mumbai last year. This enthusiastic team of 6 students converted their Research paper into reality by actually doing what they wrote.
