Techno NJR student Team -Slick wins Rs. 15 Lacs First Prize
Techno NJR students do it again. Students Team Slick comprising of Kamlesh Kumar, Sachin Goyal and Harshit Jaroli of Civil Engineering Department working under mentorship of Dr. Pankaj Porwal won First prize of Rs. 15 Lacs in the event Green-A-Thon organised during Rajasthan Digifest 5.0 held at Bikaner from 25th to 27th July, 2018.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje gave the prizes to winners.
Techno NJR team Botlabs had won Rs. 10 Lacs Second Prize in Rajasthan Digifest held at Udaipur in December, 2017.
About Rajasthan Digifest 5.0
A technology carnival saw the desert city of Bikaner come alive with over 5,000 people that included students, developers, tech enthusiasts, employers and startups participate in Rajasthan’s fifth edition of DigiFest. A highlight of the three-day event was Hackathon 5.0 and Green-A-Thon which saw 3,500 participants from not just the state but all over India.
The 36-hour coding and designing marathon got underway with over 800 teams from 20 cities, helped by 15 mentors. At the end of the first round of evaluation, 14 teams made it to the final and were then evaluated by a jury led by Mohandas Pai, Chairman of Manipal Global Education and Aarin Capital, and Nakul Saxena, Director of Public Policy at iSPIRIT.
